Independent Hours.

last tuesday i completed 10 of the 15 independent student service learning hours. i complete this by helping voters in my area into the voting area & other things. considering i knew the politicians & advisors, my job was a piece of cake (idiom). the day started off with me sitting inside & watching as my community filed into the small basement of my old elementary school. the day ended with me sitting outside handing out advertisements.

this helped the community because it showed them that younger people in their neighborhood could take responsibility & do jobs like the 'grown-ups' do. i think it was a good experience for me to do this service because i interacted with the people around me & it was a good learning experience towards my future dream career.
